Welcome to Coniscliffe Carving Club's own homepage within U2CanCarve.

U2CanCarve is now five years old and has been used as a national website for some time now. We have always promoted the Coniscliffe Carving Club as the primary content of the site but to become "national", it is only right that priority isn't given to any one club. Hence we now have our own website within a website as will others.  At present, this system is under test.

Here's how it works:

Non-registered visitors to U2CanCarve, both UK and international, will have access the national pages and also to individual club pages without registering or logging in. Club members presently registered on U2cancarve.com will have the benefit of the restricted members' pages on U2CanCarve and automatically, to the Coniscliffe Carving Club's own members' restricted pages. This will be the same for all members of any club with their own website within U2CanCarve.

Fred Ullyart 

Fred, a retired art teacher, has been a great asset to the club ...... He is a somewhat reticent almost shy man except when he is helping someone to achieve a particular goal.  In 2005 without telling anyone he entered a carving for the show at Westonbirt Arboretum (the national event of the BWA). His entered piece was THE WINDCATCHER .........HE WON!.......not only that but also  took the people's choice award!!!!!  That is the true accolade. We at the club were were so proud of Fred that we have reproduced the Windcatcher as the club emblem.
